Ruben will be showcasing a couple of data driven C#/.NET websites where he created data driven modules for Events, video player, newsletter via email and text, traffic tracker and submission form. He will also show how he is using free flash xml driven photo galleries by generating a data driven xml file.

Ruben is a self-taught developer who started developing applications using MS Access in 1999. Over the years, his development skills have grown to include VBA, SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Flash and many more. He has created and maintained applications currently being utilized in school districts across the country and in small businesses in Europe and India. He obtained his MCP in .NET Web Development, CompTIA A+ Certification, ACE CS3 Web Designer and MOS Certification in Office at Centriq, which not only helped him to continue his self-training, but to continue his passion and ambition in development, and to pursue his career in the .NET world.
Ruben is an effective organizer and planner. His outgoing and friendly nature allows him to interact well with other staff members at all levels and is able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical persons. After earning a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Drury University in Springfield, MO, C! lint has had the opportunity to pursue his hobby of computer programming as his career. His earlier experience was primarily on the AS/400 minicomputer platform, working for companies such as IBM, GE, and La Petite Academy. Self-taught on the PC and web platforms, Clint has worked on a number of C++ and PHP projects over the years. He is now a major partner in a startup company, EnergyThings, LLC, where he works as the lead developer for the company's site for tracking household energy usage.

John is a couple decades veteran in IT. He worked in several technology positions for RCA Computer Division, Unisys and (DEC) digital equipment corporation. John started Cjk Software Consultants, Inc in 1993 after accepting DEC's transition opportunity to start a custom software company. He received an ASC from Dean Junior College and BAC from Clark University in MA with a double major Math/Computer Science in 1991. He has observed and benefited from user groups in MA and KC. He is also on Technology Advisory commitees for Van Horn High and Olathe High Schools. John is also a Toastmaster. He has led several IT non-profit organizations and user groups in KC. He is anxious to start and grow this group as well.

John will talk about building and developing simple web sites. What should the thinking process consist of when building your web site. What decisions should the business owner non-profit consider when developing the web site. He will demonstrate his web site and the very simple content management system that he uses for his web site. It is so simple to use, it won't take more then 5 minutes to understand and use this product.
Topic #2: Technical Presentation: CMS with Text Control in ASP.Net (speaker: Ruben Mendez)
Ruben will showcase a couple of sites developed that uses free textbox CMS. He will demonstrate the differences between per page data and data driven pages using CMS. He can also demonstrate how the photo gallery works and how you can use multiple CMS instances within one page for tabbed web pages.

Topic #3: Effectively Using Twitter And Creating Twestivals (speaker: Mark Van Baale)
Mark will talk about how he has most effectively used Twitter - to connect with people and share information. He will also talk about two (2) Twestivals he organized in the Kansas City area and how the planning committee used Twitter to spread the word and help raise donations for this event.
Mini-BIO:
Mark is an active member of the Social Media Club of Kansas City. Lead and organized Kansas City Twestivals that raised funds for charities. Known as a "Connector" on Twitter in Kansas City community for helping others and showing them the ropes on how to use Twitter.
