I had a fun and exciting weekend. I spent over 34 hours this weekend with C4C - Coders 4 Charities. It was great seeing so many developers, programmers and graphic designers come together as a unity to give back to the community. Thanks to everyone who participated especially those who feed us and those who provided us with great vocal sounds entertainment. I would also like to thank all of the non-profit organizations for allowing us to participate in your cause for contributing the community.
The charities I contributed to were:
Cass County Jobs Club - http://casscountyjobsclub.org/
Designed a flash banner for the landing page using Adobe Flash CS3. Designed an image header from the flash banner for the whole website using Adobe Photoshop CS3

============== Personal Comments:
The organization I participated in with fellow developers was the Jobs and Employment Support Services (JESS). http://www.jessinc.org/
Our goal was to build a Client Management Application in a .NET Framework in an n-tier architecture system. We modified and created 164 stored procedures, generated over 40 tables with foreign constraints using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Query File and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 in a Subversion repository environment. Met some great developers and team leaders.
I would like to say thank you for letting me be part of the St. Louis Coders 4 Charities event. Being among fellow developers and learning more than I expected to volunteer, is priceless. I believe the only hard part for me, was the drive to and from Kansas City. Other than that, it made all worth while to be part of something, especially when it envolves giving back to the community.
Thanks to everyone!
